Week 5 – Faith & Provision

Saturday, Day 32 – Faithful Stewardship of What God Provides

Scripture: Luke 16:10–12; 1 Peter 4:10

Faith is not only about trusting God to provide; it is also about faithfully stewarding what He has already given. As we fast and pray for our ministry property, God reminds us that stewardship is a key part of receiving and sustaining His provision. Luke 16:10–12 says, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”

Stewardship begins with recognizing that all we have belongs to God. The talents, finances, opportunities, and relationships He entrusts to us are tools for His Kingdom. 1 Peter 4:10 reinforces this: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” Faithful stewardship honors God and positions us to receive His multiplied blessings.

Fasting reinforces this principle by teaching contentment and intentionality. When we give up personal comforts, we are reminded that our resources—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—are meant for God’s purposes, not simply our own desires. Each act of stewardship, no matter how small, demonstrates obedience and trust.

Stewardship also strengthens unity. When a church faithfully manages resources together—through service, giving, or care for the vision—it fosters trust and alignment. Leaders and members alike can see God’s hand at work in tangible ways, strengthening faith for the next steps.

As we continue to pray for the ministry property, stewardship is both preparation and evidence of readiness. God often tests our faithfulness with what is already in our hands before entrusting us with more. Being faithful now demonstrates our heart for His work and ensures that provision will be multiplied effectively.

Reflection/Application:

  • Identify one resource or gift God has entrusted to you and consider how you can steward it better.

  • Ask God to show you ways to serve, give, or manage resources for His glory.

  • Pray Luke 16:10 over your life, your ministry, and the ministry property.

Prayer:
Father God, help us to be faithful stewards of all You have entrusted to us. Teach us to manage resources with wisdom, humility, and joy. Strengthen our hearts to serve others, honor Your vision, and prepare for the abundant provision You are bringing. May everything we steward reflect Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
